The Edgewater location at Edgewater Towne Center is the first of three offices Amazon One Medical plans to open in New Jersey this year, with the goal of expanding access to high-quality, convenient healthcare, according to Dr. Evelyn Chu, District Medical Director for Amazon One Medical in New Jersey.
“Members have been asking us to open up offices in New Jersey for some time, and we are thrilled to start caring for this community in-person and via our 24/7 virtual care,” Chu said.
Amazon One Medical offers same-day and next-day appointments, drop-in lab services, and longer patient-provider visit times to address everything from preventative care to chronic conditions like diabetes.
Members can also access 24/7 on-demand virtual care, allowing them to connect with licensed providers via video chat, renew prescriptions, and get quick treatment for common concerns like allergies, skin conditions, and urinary tract infections through the “Treat Me Now” feature in the Amazon One Medical app.

The partnership with Hackensack Meridian Health will ensure that Amazon One Medical patients can seamlessly transition to specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare services within the Hackensack network, officials said.

Amazon One Medical memberships can be added as a Prime benefit for Amazon Prime members for $9 per month or $99 per year at health.amazon.com/prime. Membership covers 24/7 virtual care, while in-person visits are covered by most major insurance plans.
The company also partners with over 10,000 employers nationwide, offering One Medical memberships as a benefit for employees and their families.
With locations in over 20 U.S. regions, Amazon One Medical aims to revolutionize the patient experience with technology-powered, patient-first healthcare.
